Your Health and Fitness

We will be examining issues related to Health and Fitness in this segment of our site.

It's an often overlooked subject especially for many who are working so hard to acquire or maintain financial success. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to do your body some "real good".

No Pain No Gain

And when you do start to do something about it, don't you just hate it when you go to the gym to workout and you see people there that you feel don't need to be there.

You say, "boy, those guys (or girls) look like they're already in shape. What are they doing here?".

Well the truth of the matter is that we are 'all different' and some people just love to exercise. For the rest of us, we need to gather discipline from somewhere to make sure that we don't lose focus on what's important in life.

All the luxury products in the world won't do you much good if you become ill due to personal health neglect.

One of the benefits of having money (or wealth) is that you're able to get others to do things for you. They can do your shopping, cooking, handle legal matters and even deposit "your" money in the bank.

However when it comes to personal health care, you can't get someone else to do all the work. You will, at some point, need to participate, and participate in a heartily fashion.

Luckily, for many people of means, they have already mastered the art of self discipline. In fact that is why they're so successful in the first place. They know that having a healthy mind and body is paramount to maintaining the fortunes they have obtained up to that point.

Still, finding the time, the energy and will power to do what's needed to stay in perfect health is difficult.

Hiring a Personal Trainer is a luxury afforded the rich and famous but not exclusively so. Many members of our middle class often forgo other niceties in order to get, and stay, in shape.

Personal Trainers are demanding individuals who make their living by pushing others to limits they could never achieve on their own. Their clients know that and often pay handsomely for the right health fitness instructor.

We plan to look into the lives of several African American "Personal Trainers" so that we may garner some insight into their world of health and body fitness.

- What's their motivation?
- What do they charge?
- How often do they do it?
- Do they get sick?
- What are their clients like?
- What happens when someone fails?
- What sex is preferred as a trainer?

So on, and so on!!!!

Join us if you will on our trip down "Health Lane". We think you're going to learn a few things that you didn't know before.
